Around the World Blog Hop

No Pin it Monday today! In fact, in light of my recent announcement, I've decided to suspend it for now...so instead, I'm here with something different today:
I finally got tagged in the Around the World blog hop! I was beginning to feel a little unloved, haha :) Sarah from {no} hats in the house tagged me and Amanda to post today! So here I go, mainly with some eye candy.
What am I working on?

around the world I

around the world II

around the world III

around the world IV

How does my work differ from others of its genre?

around the world V

around the world VI
I don't know about different, but I can talk about my style! I love angular piecing, paper piecing, and ombre. Ombre everything :) I'm also into more masculine quilts and colors.
around the world VII

around the world VIII

around the world IX
around the world X
Why do I create what I do?
I'm going to skip this one for now, as I have a whole post planned on this  :)

How does my creative process work?
It all starts with an inspiring image - either one of my husband's electrical engineering sketches, or a photo I see. I find lots of inspiration in wallpapers, architecture, and other quilts. You can go here to see some of the images I've collected for possible future projects. I plan out all of my quilts on Adobe Illustrator before sewing anything! And then I sew :)

I couldn't think of anyone off the top of my head who hadn't been tagged, so if you haven't been and want to be, consider yourself "it"! Thanks for reading, all you cool people.
