Broken Churn Dash

I was lucky enough to have one of my quilts as covergirl of Modern Quilts Unlimited!!!

They are a joy to work with, and this was also a really fun (and easy!) quilt to put together.

It's 53.5" x 70", perfect for a toddler bed or crib. I backed it in bright green, cuz yes. I used a peppered shot cotton for the background blue and absolutely love how it looks - royal blue threads shot with black look sophisticated from some angles, bright and fun from others. I could see a hipster toddler rockin' this in his room.

The print is Cuneiform Script in Aged, and I bought it at Fabric Bubb (of course!). I showed juuuust a glimpse of this earlier, and you guys....that metallic thread is everything to me! I used Sulky metallic in Silver, my main squeeze.

Anyway, I'm so very late in getting this off that I don't think this is the current issue on stands (yeesh), but you can buy a copy here.
