Succulents Fabric Line & Awesome Giveaway

Succulent blog hop copy Soooooo......

You're probably here for the fabric giveaway. But I'm going to talk a little, and show some photos, and pretend like you're also here for me & my project, okay? Great.

Last night, I shared this pillow tutorial:

Wavy Pillow Tutorial B

Wavy Pillow Tutorial A

{Like these fabrics? I used: Succulent Parade in Navy & Wallpaper in Grey}

I made it with two fabrics that I chose from Heather Givan's lovely new Succulents line. She's a brand new Windham designer, talented creator, quilt shop owner, and all around beautiful person.

The original version I made of this pillow was in a wider variety of fabrics:

{Fabrics I used, from top to bottom: Moveable Type in Green, Scandia in Teal, Moveable Type in Blue, Scandia in Sand, Wallpaper in Sage, binding: Wallpaper in Grey}

But, I think we can all agree that this second version is more "me". That's one great thing about the line - plenty of range in color and prints to please us all! My absolutely favorite print is the navy border print, which I used on the back of this pillow:

If you go for using all of the prints in the line, you'll get this lovely spring feeling of a succulent plant, with the terracotta pot color to ground it all.

I'm super excited to see what Heather is going to be debuting next! You can check out her store's website here (visit the brick & mortar shop in Indianapolis), her blog here, and find her on instagram @CrimsonTate.

And now, onto the gooooood stuff -
